Brand Information

Martin Faizy, a 40-year-old British leatherman, produces handmade work with a handful of staff at a workshop in Washington State. The flagship Quick Release Belt is famous for its first release in the world, using the buckle design used by firefighters from the Victorian era. By sticking to the high quality and not just focusing on design, leather uses the British J&E Sedgewick Bride Leather and J.&F.J. Baker of Colon. The best products ever made after traditional technological prowess are sold around the world, including Sheville, Berlin, Paris, Tokyo and New York, after a rigorous inspection process.

영국의 가죽장인 Martin Faizey의 대표모델 Quick Release Belt입니다. 100여년 역사를 자랑하는 영국의 Daines& Hathaway에 납품, Engineered Garments나 Needles등 Nepenthes 계열과의 협업등 세계에서 최초로 Quick Release를 선보인 원조입니다. 여타 브랜드에서 모방하여 제작되기도 하지만, 오리지널인 만큼 최상의 퀄리티를 자랑합니다. 1900년에 시작한 영국 전통가죽회사 J & E Sedgewick Leathers사의 최고급 Bridle Leather를 사용하여 수작업(Handmade)로 제작되었습니다. Quick Release 버클이란 영국 빅토리아시대에 소방수가 비상시 빠르게 탈착할 수 있도록 사용되던 버클에서 비롯된 디자인입니다.

* 영국식 Bridle Leather은 천연피혁에 내구성을 강화하기 위해, 어패류등을 갈아서 제작된 기름을 먹여 제작됩니다. 이로인해 석회질이 올라오는 현상 (하얗게 올라오는)이 시간이 지날 수록 생길 수 있는데 이는 자연스러운 경년의 변화로서 즐겨주시면 됩니다. 또한 가죽특성상 기스가 날 수 있습니다.
* 퀵릴리즈 벨트 특성상 제품의 버클이 느슨해질 순 있습니다만 실제 착용시에는 풀리지 않습니다.

Store Information

The bricks and mortar address is 31, Toegye-ro 18-gil, Jung-gu, Seoul and is available from 12PM to 8PM. You are always welcomed to try all the regular season collections and carryover items in person, but previous season items with markdowns can only be tried on weekdays (Monday-Friday).
